What Is Intuitive Life Coaching?

Intuitive life coaching takes a more holistic or a mind, body, spirit, and soul approach. It considers the practical aspects of life as well as the interconnectedness of the physical, mental, emotional, social, energetic, and spiritual aspects too. 

As an intuitive life coach, I possess a heightened ability to tap into my intuition and connect with my clients on a deeper level. I provide unique insights, perspectives, and guidance beyond the realm of everyday awareness helping you navigate life with greater understanding.

I also utilize my intuitive abilities to gain deeper insights into your situation and coaching needs. This helps my clients uncover hidden patterns, blocks, limiting beliefs, and embrace new opportunities to accelerate their self-awareness and personal growth.

What's The Difference Between Life Coaching and Therapy? 

While there are many similarities between life coaching and therapy,
there are 3 main differences: 

Focus:

Coaching services primarily focus on the present and future.
Therapy services tend to focus more on the past and the present

  • Coaching¬†helps individuals identify and create a future vision for their desired outcomes and develop strategies to attain them.
  • Therapy involves exploring past experiences, traumas, and patterns of behavior that may contribute to current challenges or distress.

Emphasis and Approach:

Coaching is oriented towards goal-setting, action, and results.
Therapy services have an emphasis on mental health, emotional healing, and psychological well-being.

  • Coaching helps individuals define and achieve their specific goals and improve specific skills or their mindset. Coaches also help individuals identify and overcome limiting beliefs or obstacles that hinder progress. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental or psychological issues.¬†
  • Therapy¬†helps individuals cope with, heal from, and resolve psychological difficulties. Therapists facilitate healing, self-discovery and personal growth by addressing emotional and psychological issues. Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental and psychological issues.

Accreditation:

There are no specific requirements to be a Life coach. Anyone can call themselves a life coach. Therapists are trained mental health professionals who possess, at a minimum, a bachelor's and master's degree.  

  • Life coaches may have some training or specialized certifications.¬† They¬†aren't licensed nor have state or national laws regulating¬† their services. They also typically have no mental health training, unless they are/or were a therapist.
  • Therapists have completed years of formal education, training and supervision to become licensed to provide therapy as regulated by state and/or national governing bodies.¬†Therapists possess specialized knowledge in psychology and mental health. Some therapists, like me, may also hold national certifications that require even more advanced training.
